Have you ever heard about the reidlwort?
While you read, the visuals that you create in your head are replicated in real life. This is where The Reidlwort makes its entrance. These little critters poof into existence the second you start reading. They shape shift into whatever you are reading. This is why you can visualize any scene from a book. Be it a character or a scene you can make connection to it. Take knights and princesses, the knight in shining armor, the princess in a blue dress blowing in the wind. You see it because of the Reidlwort.
These little critters are sly however and they know when you are reading. If you look up they disappear. Sometimes however depending on how strong the visual is they will stay for a little bit longer. Not a ton of time only for a split second. This gives you time to turn quickly and see if you can spot them.
Depending on the circumstances however sometimes you don’t want to see the Reidlwort. If it creates the visuals in your head. Then that means if you think about something standing near you. Say right next to you. Watching you, with large dark eyes which appear to be oozing a black liquid. It’s few clumps of hair bristle as it steps closer, step by step. Its claws clicking on the floor. Its skin sucked to its body, displaying ribs and bone. It’s so close now it’s breath dances quietly off your cheek. You can feel its nose, closer and closer to your face. Its large ears twitch in anticipation. Its eyes narrow and it smiles.
If I were you I wouldn’t look up quickly. I wouldn’t want to see the Reidlwort.
