I’ve found myself mystified recently by something I never thought I’d have interest in. The world of AI images. It started with an idea: can I create any image I want using AI? Well technically yes, but also technically no. Yes, AI is designed to grab from multiple sources all at once and create a prompt or text on your heart’s desire. Yet, we live in a new starting age of AI meaning it can be capped by its creators. You can’t go to chat gpt or grok, two large names, and create whatever you like. They will make you pay a fee after a certain point or restrict you. So I came up with a solution and some learning.
I started with finding free use software, Comfyui to be exact. I then taught myself how to build the model and nodes. Essentially telling the system to build exactly what I want it to using AI software. From here I’ve been able to create endless images and videos with no payways and no restrictions. What does this mean however for everyday life? The images I’m able to make are so realistic and advanced that at some point the line between reality and fiction will be blurred. We will no longer be able to tell what’s real and what is fake. We will have entire generations born and raised only seeing AI generated content on the internet. It makes me scared but also curious. What does a society look like when we can’t tell what’s real. Maybe just maybe, we are already there.
Here’s some images I created with their prompts:
Cute white bunny eating grass. The grass is tall and a large oak tree sits behind the bunny. Peaceful summer

A cute little wiener dog standing on a couch. The couch is light blue, the sun is shining through the window. There are throw pillows and a plaid blanket. Light warm cozy
