AI World: Part II

I’m going to keep this series going. It’s just a little poke at the AI we now see and what could be.

She sat with her legs crossed. Her black satin dress dripped to the floor, her leg was revealed by the sleek cut in the fabric. Charlie sat looking at her. His shirt was stained from the grease of the burger he ate. His big gut stuck out a little under his shirt and his tighty whities bunched up high on his legs. He scratched his lower back. “Emi, could you do the dishes?” Emi’s eyes pierced Charlie as he said her name. Her dark black eyes sinuated her beautiful Korean face. Her hair was black with streaks of white. Just like Charlie’s favorite food, the Oreo. Emi liked to do her own make-up, cateyes and ruby red lipstick. “Are you interested in pleasure time?” Emi tilted her head. Charlie shook his head in anger, “No you damned robot I want you to do the damn dishes.” Emi showed no emotion, “Would you like, pleasure time?” Charlie slammed his hand on the table and stood, “I can’t stand this, I took a loan out to get you. And you can’t follow standard procedures. Damn cheap Chinese shit.” Charlie stormed out. Emi reached back and unplugged herself from the wall. The plug retracted into a base plate at the bottom of her foot. She looked at the dark blue dragon tattoo on her arm. She loved that tattoo. Emi loved tattoos, she loved her clothes. She loved her slender form and her height. Charlie did make a perfect specimen. Well, my parents at AI World did, Emi thought to herself. She walked over to the kitchen sink and turned on the water. At least I’ll outlive this loser. She started by picking up the spoon covered in gravy Charlie left to harden on the kitchen counter. The water was warm. Or the sensors in Emi’s arm told her it was. Hot enough a human wouldn’t be able to keep their hand in it for long. She could hear the blair of Charlie’s computer in the background. He was playing league. He wasn’t very good, but he also wasn’t very smart. Emi laughed to herself. She finished up the dishes and walked out into the living room. “Honey, I go for run now.” Charlie’s eyes caught hers above his computer. “Sounds good, could you grab some milk on the way back?” Emi nodded in response. She walked into the bedroom and let her dress fall to the floor. She grabbed her leggings and sports bra. Today was a nice warm day. Or that’s how it would feel. If I could feel it. She laced up her running shoes. Stepped out in the hallway of their apartment and headed towards the elevator. She pressed the down button when her phone rang. “Hello?” The voice on the other end was calm and collected. “Hola, ¿tú corres ahí?” Emi laughed. I’m not in the same room as him. You can speak normally and, no, I’m running there now.” The voice on the other end laughed. “Ok I thought we would switch it up and try Spanish today instead of Korean. I know Charlie wouldn’t know the difference.” Emi laughed, “You’re right. I’ll let you know when I have it.” “Perfect, be safe Emi.” Emi smiled, “I will Sam, thank you for this.” The call cut and Emi stepped into the elevator.
