A true story from my dad, enjoy!
We were all sitting at the table, it was a very fun night, it was Allison and Vinny’s bachelorette/bachelor party. We were in Portland Oregon, and tomorrow was the big day. We were at a really great bar, I have no idea what it was called, but, they had karaoke and there were, surprisingly a number of better than average singers hitting the stage, me included. There had been me, singing some old school country, a guy who did some banger, improve rap tune and then, out of no where, who walked in, side stepped the line and went straight to the DJ, to get his fix in place???
Axle Fuckin Rose, no bull shit, no lies, no exaggeration!!! Axle Rose walked up, asked the DJ, can I sing Sweet Child of Mine and peace out? And that’s exactly what he did, it was amazing and a life time experience. He even did the full on Axle weave/sway when he danced. It was a one off deal, completely amazing!!!!!
We have talked about it many times over the years, this took place in 1996
